We Help for a Cause

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

The Parent-Teacher Organization of Sonoran Trails Middle School (STMS) comprises parents, community members, and staff who work together to provide students with added enrichment to their existing curriculum. Everyone who has a child at STMS is automatically a member of the PTO.

 

The PTO bridges the annual gap on hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding not given to schools, teachers, and families due to the service area's median incomes. STMS PTO fundraising is critical to many programs the students love and look forward to, and provides additional financial support for technology, books, landscaping, equipment, and so much more. 

 

The PTO Board meets monthly to discuss all matters of PTO business. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend any Board meeting. PTO meetings are generally held on the first Friday of each month. If you plan to attend, please send us a note so we can tell you the meeting locations. 

The PTO is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

 

In this time of 'state educational budget reductions', schools have had to do with less. This is why the PTO provides the funds to give the students the best possible education with enrichment programs and services.
